How accurate is the Galleri test?

In GRAIL’s published validation studies, the Galleri test is reported to have a false-positive rate below 1% (specificity ~99.6%). Sensitivity varies by cancer stage; later-stage cancers are detected more reliably than early-stage. A "No Cancer Signal Detected" result does not rule out cancer, which is why the Galleri test is a complement to standard screening, not a replacement for it.
