The Struggle
Dylan Cooper had a singular mantra: 'Hydrate or die.' As a competitive marathoner, he took it literally — drinking over a gallon of water daily. But instead of performance gains, he got brain fog, cramps, and stomach bloating. 'I thought more water meant more energy,' he said. 'Turns out, I was short-circuiting my system.'
Despite training harder than ever, his times slowed. He’d finish long runs dizzy and nauseated. His coach suspected overtraining, but Dylan sensed imbalance. His hydration routine, once his strength, had become sabotage.

The Breaking Point
The crash came during the Rocky Ridge Half Marathon. At mile 10, Dylan’s vision blurred, his legs stiffened, and he collapsed near the finish. Hospital labs showed low sodium (hyponatremia) — from overhydration.
Back home, he researched ‘how to fix overhydration safely.’ That’s when he discovered Vitals Vault. Their words, 'Hydration is electrical, not just liquid', felt revolutionary.
“I’d been flooding my body,” he said, “but starving it of signal.”
